Epic death metal band Mytherine is ready to release the new album Lord of Mountains. Ten years after the release of their debut album, Dawn of a New Era, the German band is finally dropping their second full-length on November 14th. The band’s lyrics deal with themes within their own lore but are inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Witcher, and the Dark Souls series. Musically, the album matches the sweeping narratives that inspire it with atmospheric melodies and brutal but melodic guitar riffs among complex arrangements.

About the band

Berlin, Germany based Mytherine formed in 2011, has built a solid reputation through their energetic live performances. After releasing their debut album, 2015’s Dawn of a New Era, the band only released a few singles, due to restructuring and the Covid pandemic.  In December 2024, the band entered the studio to record Lord of Mountains. The album was recorded partly in Noir Surge Studio and partly in LTMF Studio and mastered in LSD Studio.

Lord of Mountains will continue the dark and epic soundscapes with an even stronger intensity than the previous album.  This new approach to songwriting is highlighted by the production, which puts the further development and unique sound of Mytherine in a completely new light.
